Big News!!! We are so excited to announce that Stuart Franco with Focus Creative Birmingham has been named a finalist in not 1 but 4 categories for the 2021 Reed Awards! The Reed Awards are awarded annually by Campaigns & Elections for excellence in political campaigning.
For the work done for the McClusky for Mayor 2020, Focus is a finalist in the following categories:
Best Use of A Social Platform (Independent/Other)
Best Online Advertising Campaign on a Shoestring Budget
Best Online Video for a Bootstrapped Campaign(Independent/Other)
Best Use of Drone Footage In An Online Video
We are very honored to have this recognition from Campaign & Elections and so proud of Stuart for all of his hard work on this successful campaign.
How do you win an election when the other candidates have more resources and negative campaigning is frowned upon? You tell a story. Sometimes you need more than a picture to tell a story. Stuart created this video for the McClusky For Mayor campaign to represent the candidate’s vision for a new day for the City of Homewood. That required a lot of early morning shots using a drone and gimbals.
It received more engagement on social media than any other piece of content in the entire election across all of the campaigns.
